Trurl says: It devotes itself to wholehearted, incessant observation”, he explained. “Not passive observation, mind you, but a most intense, strenuous and aggressive kind of observation, and whatever is observed fills it with inexpressible delight!
Klapaucius says: “You mean, this machine derives pleasure from an active examination of all that is?”
